What is the AET?

The Autism Education Trust (AET)

Since 2007, the AET has been the go-to destination for autism education expertise – helping the UK education workforce develop and meet the growing demand for good autism practice.

The AET promotes and supports partnerships throughout the education system to improve educational access, experience and outcomes for autistic children and young people.

Training sessions are underpinned by current research into good autism practice and the AET programme is structured around the three education phases – Early Years, Schools and Post 16.

The Professional Development Programme (PDP) is the only Department for Education Supported, CPD-accredited Autism Training Programme that has been co-produced with parents, professionals and our panel of autistic young experts.
