- How autistic pupils might express anxiety and some possible causes of anxiety.
- The prevalence of anxiety in the autistic population.
- A toolbox of approaches that can be used to reduce anxiety.
Who is this module for?
This module is for practitioners who work with autistic pupils up to 25 years old and attend an educational provision.
- Early Years Professionals, e.g. Child Minders, Nursery Staff, Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
- School Education Professionals, e.g. Teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Intervention Assistants.
- Post-16 Providers, e.g. College Teachers and Assistants, Apprenticeships Employers and Mentors.
