Positive Covid-19 Case – Phase 5
Unfortunately this morning (Sunday 8th November) there has been a confirmed positive COVID-19 case within our Phase 5 bubble. The local health protection team has advised that our Phase 5 bubble self-isolate.
This means that all staff and pupils in Upper 1, Upper 2 and Upper 3 will have to remain ‘isolated’ at home until the end of Friday 20th November. They return to school on Monday 23rd November.
Your household does not need to isolate with your child, unless the child develops symptoms. If they, or anyone in your household, begins to develop any of the COVID-19 symptoms, even if accompanied by a cold/flu, get a test and let us know the result as soon as possible.
No transport routes are affected.
All parents/carers and staff affected by this positive case have been contacted this morning via phone by school.
We will keep all parents updated on the current situation at Cleaswell via Facebook and and our website.
Thank you to the staff who gave up their Sunday morning to come into work to contact parents/carers and colleagues.
