Pupils Voice
Cleaswell Hill values the voice of all pupils and seeks to ensure that we consult, engage and promote their opinions and choices.
School have been actively involved in the Voice of the Pupil pilot project in conjunction with Schools North East and the Healthy MindED commission. Findings from this are to be reported to the commission who will collate and send information to the Department for Education (DfE) to support schools nationally.
A working group, with members from all phases across school, facilitate ongoing conversations between groups of students within their phase using a questioning framework. Results are fed back and common themes identified and actioned.
Next steps include how to improve participation of pupil voice in EHCP’s and the Annual Review meetings.
